Matthew Tribble

Matthew Tribble is an award-winning filmmaker from Marion, IA and is the co-founder of Broken Slate Productions. 

He graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2016 with one goal in mind - to make movies that challenge our day to day preconceptions, fuel our curiosity, and examine the connections and dynamics people have with one another. 
When he's not working on a film, Matthew's usually listening to loud music, watching English Premier League soccer, or watching bad movies with friends.

Michael Ridley

"JESSE PHOENIX"

Michael Ridley is an actor originally from Milwaukee. He has starred in several Iowa-produced projects, including the award-winning Knee High. He is also a writer and producer, having written and starred in the 2016 film Good Kids. He has also been the lead in many stage productions such as Spring Awakening, All My Sons, Almost, Maine, and Grease. He has been nominated for the Irene Ryan Award for his performance in All My Sons and the Online Indie Society Award for his performance in Good Kids.

Andromeda Ross

"NIKKI YOUNG"

Andromeda Ross hails from a theatrical background and has appeared in several productions, including the John Beasley Theater’s production of Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the production of All in the Timing chosen to perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington D.C.
She has appeared in various roles on television and in films. You may have seen her in commercials for Hearthstone Homes and Jensen Tire, and she has appeared as a model in multiple publications.
Andromeda studied theater at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts.
Andromeda has lived and traveled throughout the United States and Europe, and now lives in Neola, Iowa.
When Andromeda isn’t acting, she is a writer, editor, photographer, linguist, and martial artist. She looks forward to starting her own production company someday.

Elliot Bales

"GERALD WINSTON"

Elliott Bales works as a film, voice, and theater actor based out of Washington DC and is a member of Veterans in Media and Entertainment.
Film and Television credits include Legends and Lies: Patriots, The Coming Storm, The Saint and the Sultan, and award-winning short film Wireless. Elliott has also narrated a number of successful audio books including The Crawlerz series, Promises Kept, Saxum, and How to Learn and Memorize Russian Vocabulary available on Audible.
His theater credits include Kleptocracy, Junk, and The Great Society at Arena Stage (DC), Kings at Studio Theater (DC), King Henry IV, Part 1 at Riverside Theater (IA) and Annie at The Little Theater on the Square (IL).
He is a graduate of Cedar Rapids Washington High School, Abilene Christian University, and the National War College. He served as a US Army Officer, retiring after 26 years of service.

Annette Duffy

"PEGGY WINSTON"

Annette Marie Duffy was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa. She grew up on a farm outside of Iowa Falls and after high school graduation moved to Des Moines. Annette received a BS in Business Mgmt from Upper Iowa University.
She has been performing on local stages in Des Moines as well as other stages in the Midwest since she was 13 years old.
Her film debut was in 2016 for the movie IOWA in which she transformed herself into a tough-loving grandma for the role of Mama. 
Since then she has appeared in or produced over 20 films as well as appeared in TV shows such as Two and a Half Men, Scandal and Brooklyn 99.  Annette currently splits her time between Iowa, LA and Phoenix.

K. Michael Moore

"OREN HEATH"

K Michael Moore is a stage and screen actor, violence coordinator, and director in the eastern Iowa region. His stage work is extensive in Eastern Iowa, and film work is growing. His film credits include These Hopeless Savages, Collapse, and the Resist Evil Trilogy. In addition to his violence work in Remote, he has staged a multitude of live violence performances in the CRANDIC Region.

Frank Boyd

"SHERIFF PARQUET"

Frank Boyd joined the performing arts later in life, but has appeared in several Iowa productions including: Oliver Short, Tea Party, The Route, A Most Forgettable Man, and the feature film RUN.
Frank lives in Plymouth, with his wife, Julie, his four children and mini-golden doodle, Blue. 
When not acting, Frank enjoys repurposing old furniture.
He is proud to call Iowa home.
